Vibrant ruby and magenta colour with lifted aromas of maraschino cherries and alpine strawberries and a lovely subtle scent of lavender. The palate is soft and juicy with primary flavours such as fruits of the forest including boysenberries and strawberries with a touch of wood spice on the finish.
enquire for purchase2021 was a challenging year from start to finish, with frost and hail causing a large reduction in volume with an average of 40% decrease in yield. Red wines are showing a herbaceous and lighter body due to the cooler season and increased rainfall, which bring the herbal tone to the wines.
Hand harvested, 100% destemmed, fermentation with natural yeast and daily remontage. Maturation in stainless steel, light fining and filtration.
